From residential interiors to commercial and experiential spaces, my work in interior design is driven by the relationship between people, atmosphere, and function. I approach each project as a unique response to its context — shaping spaces through proportion, materiality, light, circulation, and emotion.

Rather than following trends, I focus on creating timeless interiors that feel grounded, intuitive, and alive. Every detail is considered as part of a larger spatial narrative, where aesthetics and functionality exist in balance. My approach combines architectural thinking with artistic sensitivity, resulting in environments that are both practical and deeply expressive.

Alongside interior architecture, conceptual wall art remains an essential extension of my creative process — a parallel exploration of color, composition, and identity that continuously influences the spaces I design.

My name is Ziad Chakhtoura, also known by the signature “elchakh,” a name that has followed me since my school days.

“To keep creativity alive, I simply try to enjoy life to the fullest.”

Graduated from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts with a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture in 2013, I currently teach at ALBA within the Interior Architecture Master’s Degree and Diploma programs, as well as Product Design studios. My academic involvement also includes composition, graphics, and spatial communication.
